So sorry I know I keep posting fall cards, I can’t seem to help myself! I just love the All About Autumn DSP (designer series paper) and I love fall. I needed to create a card for my Dad’s birthday and sometimes I struggle with creating masculine cards. This card was fun! I love the way it turned out. So rich and yet classic. It was pretty simple to create too!
A close up of the front it. This may have been before I dropped it in the frosting to add to the fun! Ugh! I love the foil in the DSP. I added the linen thread for that fun all texture. Simple, masculine with the woodgrain added from the DSP too.
I love the greeting this set Hand Made Hugs! Is that not what a card in the mail it! Tell someone you are thinking of them! Or you could drop it in the frosting, not have time to make another so you gently scrap it off and hope he does not notice. Yes, it was that kind of a day! Oh well pretty sure he will never notice that small part!
Pretty Peacock 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored with bone folder at 5 1/2″ next cut a 4″ x 5 1/2″ woodgrain DSP from the pack. Cut a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Copper Clay cardstock piece and a 3″ x 5 1/2″ piece of the foiled Copper Clay DSP. Place the Copper Clay DSP onto the Copper Clay Cardstock and then wrap the linen thread around this 3 times and knot it off in the center. Place the wood grain DSP on the front of the card using your Stampin Seal Plus or adhesive of choice. Next place the layered Copper Clay over the wood grain DSP. Die cut a Very Vanilla Stylish stitched circle and a Pretty Peacock foiled leaf from the DSP pack. Die cut a Very Vanilla label from the bundle. Stamp the greeting Happy Birthday in Copper Clay ink. Place the die cut leaf on the center of the circle using your adhesive. Place the Stampin Dimensionals on the back of the circle and center on card front over the linen thread. Next, add adhesive to the left back of the label and a Stampin Dimensional on the back right side so that when it is added to the card the label will be popped up under the right side and will add right to the leaf without a dimensional there. Using your Take Your Pick tool place the Speckled Gems on the circle. I love it do odd numbers when using these so I picked 3. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Card stock cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ and place inside the card. I added a 4″x 1/2″ strip to the cut Very Vanilla and stamped the greeting in Copper Clay.

Well you can tell where it landed in the frosting from this photo! Some days I amaze myself with the things I manage to do!
