These cool days remind me of my favorite time of year- fall! The smells, the apples orchard trips, football games and cool nights! Bonfires, sweatshirts and jean, leaves and the beautiful colors of fall. I love fall even though as a farmers wife, it gets to be a very crazy time of year. Harvest is busy but also beautiful to see the sights and sounds of fall, the combines running and the grain being harvested. Can you feel fall yet? I always hate to see summer end but with the start of school just around the corner this summer is quickly winding down. It went so fast but then it always seems too go quicker every year.. It is so easy to do!I used the Stampin Blends to color in the leaves and applies. I love our Stampin Blends! They color beautifully and do not leave lines like markers do. Note, you could also color in with water color or even use our colored pencils all creating different effects! I did use the die cuts that are pre-order or sneak peak but you could stamp directly on the scalloped contour die cut and then color in. I die cut the applies stamped in Memento Black ink, colored in and then popped up off the die cut with Stampin Dimensionals. I did use Wink of Stella for some glitter or morning dew on the applies.Then there is the super fun Gingham Plaid DSP in so many fun colors! Reversible 12×12 Designer Series Paper and I will have to say I am just addicted to it! It is super fun paper to create with! It pairs well with the Black and White Gingham Ribbon and I added an Old Olive Label embossed with White Embossing Powder. I used our new Essentials embossing tool kit and oh my, it is amazing! The Tweezer for holding your shapes while embossing is amazing! No more hot fingers, I may just be embossing so much more! I also added Brick Texture to the card by embossing a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock with the 3D Brick Embossing Folder. A 2″ x 5″ strip of Red Plaid Gingham was added the the left side of the card over the Brick embossed paper. I then added the Scalloped Contour Die cut in Basic White and used Stampin Dimensionals to pop it up off the card. Stampin Seal plus used for adhering the ribbon under the Stylish cut label in Old Olive cardstock.
