Back from a busy couple days and a fun weekend get away to visit our new grand child and see our daughter in her match ceremony for medical school. Now, back to my stamp room as March ends with tons of birthdays including our daughters. Don’t tell her I almost forgot in the craziness of the weekend but no worries card is done and ready for the mail! I am totally in love with the Abstract Beauty DSP. Yes, I have featured it way to much on my blog but I have to say is is just beautiful! The colors are just stunning and the gold foil makes them so elegant to create with. Both sides of the paper are coordinate with one side embossed with gold foil. It is also a new fun size of 4″ x 6″ and perfect for card fronts.

Needless to say after a long weekend, I needed some quick cards! This one is super quick and fun to make!

I angels the center but straight would be good too!
Everyday label Punch, Nave Bakers twine from the fan bakers twine pack and gilded gems added to this card.
And yes, I have to add DSP to my envelope flaps and use the extra strip from cutting the 4″ x 6″ piece down to 5 1/4″ for the inside of your card. Fits perfectly on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White for inside the card. I love to bring the outside of the card front inside the card and also tie the envelope flap in to the decor of the card. If you know me, you know I tend to be a matchy person. Some days a bit to much!

Cut a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Night of Nave and score at 5 1/2″. Next cut the Magenta Madness DSP down to 5 1/4″ in length and adhere to card front using Stampin Seal Plus. Cut a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ Night of Navy rectangle. Next, cut a floral Abstract Beauty DSP piece to 3″ x 4 1/4″. Adhere to Night of Navy cut piece. Wrap the Navy Bakers twine around the layered rectangle threes times leaving tails to tie a bow. Snip ends with Paper Snips.

Punch a Magenta Madness label with the Every Day Label Punch and stamp your greeting in Night of Navy ink. Place dimensionals on the back of the label and adhere over the bakers twine. Next, place dimensionals on the back of the layered rectangle and place at an angle on the card front. Add, the Gilded Gems using your Take Your Pick Tool.

Stamp the Basic White for inside the card with your greeting and adhere the strip of DSP to the bottom. Adhere this to the inside of your card. Using your Stampin Seal Plus adhere DSP to the back of the envelope flap and trim using your Trimmer and your Paper Snips.

Simple and done! Ready for the mail on Monday! Not bad for starting at 9:30 PM! 4 cards done in no time! You can just this layout with any DSP (Designer Series Paper).
