This bundle is just to much fun. When I think of Sympathy cards I want them to be beautiful and special to let them know just how much I care about them. This card was for a special friend who recently lost her father. I wanted to send her a special card and it has to be just perfect in my mind. So, finally this is the creation and I could not be more happy with it. I feel it is just elegant. I hope she enjoys it and knows I am thinking about her.
This bundle is perfect to create with the Designer Series Papers that are beautiful and so elegant. The butterfly is literally cut out with the die cut. No stamping needed and popped off the card. I also love to add texture to my cards and the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder is a fun one for texture! This card was a 15 minute card this am and off to work! So, don’t think you don’t have time to stamp! I promise you, that you all do! Remember I work in the transportation business usually 50 plus hours a week, not by choice but when you run the company that is what you get and we have 3 grown children, farm, love to sew and quilt too. Yes, life is crazy and wild and this is my fun job or hobby or creative outlet! My stress release and I love to create and share with you!
Super simple card using the Basic White thick card stock for the standard card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, next cut a Basic White thin card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″ and emboss with the Brick and Mortar in the Cut and Emboss Machine. Stick that down to the card base using the Stampin Seal. I like to use the plus version. Cut a 2″ x 5 1/4″ strip of the Bermuda Bay and then a 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ speckled DSP. Stick the DSP to the Bermuda Bay strip and stick down to card. Next die cut the butterflies. You will be able to line up the die with the DSP butterflies to cut an entire sheet of beautiful butterflies! How cool is that? Die cut out your label and stamp the greeting. I love the font in the Happy Thoughts set. Pop up the large butterfly with 2 dimensionals and the stamped label. Stick both down to the card with the label first then butterfly. Next, tie a bow and using a mini glue dot stick it down to the card. Using your Take Your Pick Tool place Rhinestones down on the card. I like to use an odd number such as 3 here to decorate the card.
Remember to decorate the envelope flap and if you get two butterfly sets and cut one stamp set apart you can even stamp the envelope front if you want. I just may have ordered two!
Remember we love to send happy mail, that mail that even makes the postman smile when he sees the outside of the envelope! Don’t forget the inside of your card, I used a Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White stamped a verse-this one is from Here’s to a Card (149438) I love the sayings in this set. Verses can be hard and this one was perfect for what I wanted to say. I love adding some DSP inside to pull the theme throughout the card. Simple and done! Even off in the mail today, hope it brings a smile.
This bundle is available till May 2nd along with the DSP, however the DSP is while supplies last and I know it will not last long. As, I said, I may have hoarded a few but I am using them like crazy, perfect for birthday, thinking of you, get well, you name it, these are great! So, my joke is hurry before they fly away!
