Change is Beautiful Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternative Cards-April 2022
Another great Paper Pumpkin kit, Change is Beautiful was not quite what I was expecting to open up but never the less another great Paper Pumpkin from Stampin Up. This kit was full of fun, bright colors and beautifully printed card bases. Of course, I hate to follow the wonderful directions in the kit. I do glance them and then I go to work. First, punch out all the fun die cuts and then I begin to start cutting up the envelopes by slicing the sides to get more fun designer series paper from the beautiful insides of the envelopes! This kit was to make 9 cards as you can tell I believe I have 21 cards from this kit! The value of these kits are so amazing and the fact that you have great stamp sets to use over and over is a wonderful bonus too! I can’t stress how much I love Paper Pumpkin and I love to create with them. I use them to create cards for the season of the year or the theme I need cards for by adapting the sayings on the cards. This time of the year in May is graduation and Mother’s Day so I changed up most of the sayings to work for the cards I needed! Open the box and just create. The boxes are great to store your done cards in until they are needed! Don’t be caught needing a quick card again, use your Paper Pumpkins to rescue you!

Scalloped Contour Die Cuts are so fun to use. Adding Wink of Stella to the flower die cut adds sparkle. The Brushed Brass Butterflies were perfect to add to these fun cards. The Good Feelings Stamp Set was used on all the cards in this photo. I love the sayings in this set. The White Glittered Organdy ribbon was also perfect to use with these cards. Paper snips used to fussy cut out the butterflies. Use dimensionals to pop them off the card for added elelments!Just Jade and Basic Black Card stock and I love to use my Stitched So Sweetly Die cuts featured in the front card and the label on the back right card.Celebrating You Stamp set was also featured on many of these cards. The sayings are great for so many occasions. You need a few good word stamps in your collection. This is a good one@Framed Occasions is another new stamp set featured in the lower card. DSP from the inside of the envelope used in the rectangle and fun to use under the top card base to see through the stars! I added the adorable resin stars to the cards. They are just fun to use!Just slice of the left side of a folded standard card base at 2 3/4″ for a short fun fold.Inside I added a folder 4″ x 10 1/2 scored at 5 1/4″ to create a fold within a fold card from above. Lots of room to jot a fun note inside.So many fun options to create! Stitched Rectangle die cuts added in too.A fun window pane by slicing the to layer to 5″ x 3 3/4″ and then slicing into 1″ strips. Mount on the Melon Mambo 5 1/4″ x 4″. I then added that to a Crushed Curry but 1/8″ larger and added that to the Basic Black card base.Another fun fold from the card above. Score at 2 3/4″Bermuda Bay and Stitched So Sweetly Die cut featured here and of course more butterlies!But look surprise inside using a flap a some tearing tape, create a pocket inside. Perfect for adding some cash or a gift card for that special someone!This is the fun part! This stamp set can be used over and over! Who does not like a butterfly! This card feature the stamps in the kit! I colored the butterflies wings in Wink of Stella. Melon Mambo 4″ x 5 1/4″ and embossed with Time Worn 3D embossing folder. Basic White 2 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ mounted on Bermuda Bay 2 3/4″ x 5″ and popped with Dimensionals. Add some basic Rhinestones for bling. Congratulations stamped inside and perfect graduation cards done.
