Wedding weekend in our home. With the ages of our kids we seem to attend lots of weddings these days. It is so much fun to see them all enter the next stage of life and to celebrate with all of them. So, I will be featuring lots of wedding cards as our calendar is booking up for wedding season again this year. I love the Symbols of Fortune Suite of products. The designer series paper is so elegant and beautiful. The metallic gold foil in the paper makes for a stunning piece of paper to create with. I had fun with this card and I hope the bride and groom like it too! Black and white with some gold and grey for a elegant combination. Add some sparkle with basic Rhinestones and some Wink of Stella on the crane for a glitter effect. Now, if only I can decide what to wear to the wedding?

Close up of the card front. I used the stitched rectangle for the greeting and the Scalloped Contour die cuts. The detail in the Good Fortune die cuts is amazing and when cut on the metallic gold paper the detail shines! I love the sayings in the fun stamp set too!
I love to add a strip of the DSP to the inside of the card. I also cropped the gold foil flowers and this is a top I cut off the long stem to fit the card front so I added that inside with Stampin Seal. The Basic White is cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped greeting in Basic Grey ink. Adhere a 4″ x 1/2″ strip of DSP to the bottom of the Basic White and use your Stampin Seal Plus to stick inside the card.

Directions: Cut a Smokey Slate with your paper trimmer to 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″ Crease with bone folder. Cut a Basic Black to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Cut a DSP to 3 3/4″ x 5″. Stick this to the Basic Black and then wrap the 1/4″ White Seam binding around the card. I then placed dimensionals on the back of the Basic Black and placed on top of card front.

Die cut a Scalloped Contour rectangle die cut and stamp the crane in Basic Grey ink. Die cut a Stitched Rectangle and stamp the greeting. Place the greeting over the ribbon with Stampin Dimensionals. I cropped the top of the scalloped die cut off to fit all on the card. Use your paper trimmer and slice off the top of the scalloped rectangle and adhere to the card front with the cut off edge at the top of the Basic Black card piece. Color the crane with Wink if Stella.

Die cut out the flower stems with the metallic foil sheets. I cropped the larger one down in size with my paper snips. Add the small cut off piece inside the card. Stick down with Stampin Seal or your multipurpose glue. Using your Take Your Pick tool place Basic Rhinestones around the card. I like to keep to an odd # and I placed 3 on the card front. Don’t forget to add DSP to the back of your envelope flap with your Stampin Seal plus to finish off your elegant card!

Don’t forget in March the mini cut emboss machine is 20% off along with some fabulous die cut and punch bundle sets. Bundles include a die cut and stamp set or a punch and stamp set! Savings of the green perfect for the month of March!
