Another quick card tonight needed for some dear friends. I know I have used this All About Autumn DSP way to much but it is just plain stunning! This card needed to be mailed so it is flat and will mail beautifully. The leaves and the texture give this card so much dimension. The leaves just look real and again you know me, I just love fall! This card is super quick to create. Quick cards are always best in my book! I am also in love with the new In Color Copper Clay and check out the 3D embossing folder distressed tile! So pretty to create with!
This is a super simple card to create. Start with a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Copper Clay card stock. Score with your trimmer and varnish the score line after folding with your bone folder. Next, take a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of DSP and adhere to the card front using your Stampin Seal plus and keep it even with the right edge of the card front. Next, take a 1″ x 5 1/2″ Copper Clay strip and emboss with the 3D distressed tile embossing folder. Adhere that to the left edge of the card front so entire front of card is covered. Cut a scrap of Copper Clay Cardstock and die cut a Stitched banner with the Stylish Shapes die cut. Stamp your greeting in Copper Clay ink. Cut off the left edge of the die cut banner in a straight line using your paper snips or your paper trimmer. Adhere that to the top center of your card with the flat edge even with the embossed strip. take a 4″x 5 1/4″ Very Vanilla and add a strip inside the card. Add a 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ strip of DSP and stamp your greeting of choice. Double tie a bow with two strands of linen thread and stick to the left edge of the label with a mini glue dot. Simple and done and perfect to mail!
This is an old set no longer available. I rarely post these but wanted to show the DSP in side the card and the Very Vanilla that I add for a completed look inside. I stamped the greeting in Copper Clay too.
Seems I have needed cards pretty much daily these days! I love having my supplies on hand and cards too. My daugher -in- law just ran through needing a card too. I have them trained so well to not buy cards too! Creating them is so much for fun! The price of cards these days is just plain crazy too. My supplies last forever just need to replace the paper and adhesive from time to time and ink refills too. I have used the greeting shown inside the card for years. I would hate to say how many cards I have made with it. So, the beauty of this is standard basic sets last forever and you more than get your value out of them!
Exciting news the All About Autumn 6×6 DSP has been on back order but it is scheduled to be available again on Oct. 30th and I will be ordering more! It was so fast last time it came back. I love this paper so much! This one is one to hoard for sure! Not that I would do that! Well maybe!
