I needed a sympathy card for a special person lost to soo. He loved the outdoors and I knew this Grove die cut set was going to be perfect, complete with the deer. He loved to hunt had a love of the nature. This card is so simple and peaceful. I love to add texture to my cards, not needed here, but I added linen thread around the top of the card. I love the detail in the die cut and the New Horizon DSP paper is breath taking! Nature is beautiful and this Designer Series Paper reflects the beauty of the earth. Simple cards are always best in my book! Quick and done and yet, everyone is amazed at your work!

This card is so simple and quick. Cut a Evening Evergreen 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
Cut a Crumb Cake 5 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ and Evening Evergreen cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″ die cut this with Grove die cut and cut a DSP to same size 5 1/4″ x 4″, Die cut 2 Crumb Cake deer.
Layer the die cut piece on the DSP and adhere with Multipurpose glue and wrap the top with Linen Thread 3 times and knot off.
Stamp Greeting in Evening Evergreen ink between the trees. Add the deer tucking one in the trees and one in front with your glue. Use Stampin Dimensionals to pop up and mount on the cut Crumb Cake piece and adhere this to the card base.
Layer a 5 1/4 x 4″ Basic White inside card and adhere a strip of 1/2″ x 4″ DSP to the left side of the Basic White.
