I really need to stop making Halloween cards or I need to send some to everyone in town. I did clean my stamp room and was planning to move on to Holiday cards but I just saw this and had to change it up a bit and I love the finished card. This one is so cute and fun! I love the fun colors of this card and I think that is why I love fall so much! Such a beautiful time of year! The colors this fall have been breath taking! Now the leaves are falling and my stamp cave needs to move on to the holidays. I love Christmas too so I hope to inspire you! What is your favorite time of the year?
Close up of the card so much fun in this one. I added Wink of Stella to the moon and the cape of the owl for some fun glitter! Who does not like a little glitter and then the glitter on the spider web and ribbon too! I die cut the owl out and popped him over the stamped image! Super easy to make and just fun! You could do any fun Halloween colors… I think I need to do orange yet too! Help, I need to sleep tonight too. I am telling you stamping is addicting and so fun. It is my fun job and my stress reliever on a crazy day! I can get lost in my paper and stamps and stamp my stress away! I really encourage you to just stamp in. The more you stamp the more fun it is and the creativity is endless!
Always remember to decorate the inside, using a dark cardstock cut a Whisper White piece of cardstock 4 x 5 1/4″ to adhere to the inside of the card. I used a strip of the DSP for the inside too. Always fun to keep the theme going and use an extra piece for the envelope flap too! This is a great card for mailing too! Sometimes those cute ones can be a challenge at the post office or you have to cover with heavy cardstock before mailing! Cut card base gorgeous grape 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ 1 and score at 4 1/4″ with bone folder. Cut Whisper White 5″ x 3 1/2″ and emboss with the tasteful textures folder. Adhere to the card. Cut the Gorgeous grape 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ and then the DSP grape dots cut to 4 1/4″ x 3″. Adhere the dots to the grape and then pop off the embossed Whisper White with dimensionals.
Die cut the label and stamp 2 owls images in memento black ink one on the label and one on a scrap of cardstock. Color the die cut owl in stampin blends and pop up with the Dimensionals. Use a scrap to stamp the boo and the tag punch for a label. Die cut the spider web in the black glitter paper and stick down before the label and tie the ribbon around the inside base and knot. Stick down boo banner last using Stampin Seal+ I like to use the plus version. Add Wink of Stella and your image to the inside! Enjoy- Sure to brighten someone’s day with this fun card!
