Just a super simple card to share tonight. I love the colors of this card. It is a simply and striking card and sometimes that is all that is needed for a sympathy card. The linen thread and the splatter of ink along with the subtle dynamic textured embossing folder (this is my favorite one!) add great elements for this card and add to the fall theme. Although since it is snow I should be thinking winter! It is way to early for this! This is also a great card for mailing too! Flat and easy to mail.
For this card but card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″. Then cut cajun craze to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and emboss with the subtle embossing folder and adhere to crumb cake card base. Cut Mango Melody to 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″. Cut Very Vanilla 4″ x 3″. Stamp the leave image in Mango Melody and the the sentiment in Early Expresso Ink. Take your Early Expresso marker and using the wide end and the lid flick the end with the cap to get the splatter look on the stamped images. Stick that down to the Mano Melody piece and then wrap linen thread around the card 3 times and knot off. Trim ends. Pop this off the card center using the Stampin Dimensionals. I also stamped inside the card using a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock to match the front of the card! Super easy card to make and a quick one that is easy to mass produce as I made 22 for a card swap tonight. Nothing like last minute stamping.
