Another great kit from Stampin Up. The Safari Celebration kit did not disappoint but they never do in my book. Super cute kit featuring cute fun playful animals. I really had fun creating with this kit. Easter, Birthday, graduation, thank you and new baby are a few of the themes you could use from this great kit. I added the Cinnamon Cider dollie and die cut some bumble bees stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink with the mini cut emboss machine and popped with a dimensional! One with the bumble bee gingham ribbon the other without. Velum and printed DSP (inside of envelope in kit-yep even cut up the envelopes to get the fun prints inside!)Pear Pizazz and Just Jade card stock. same card cuts different layout placement.Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper is perfect with this kit and some of my favorite Spring DSP! The rocks in the kit are fun to color with your blending pens or markers to change the colors!Embossing the velum is a fun way to add some texture to the cards. I cut all card bases up before I create or quite a few of them I tend to cut them to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and be sure to save the cut off strips to use inside your cards too! I also cut open several of the envelopes by slicing the sides at the edges to open the envelope and then cutting it at the folds to have more DSP to create with!Fun folds and fancy paper piecing added here!Paper Pumpkin Safari Celebration Alternative ProjectsLayering circles are fun to use and a staple in my craft room!This was a fun card to make! Basic Black and Basic White card stock are fun staples to create with Paper Pumpkin kits or great basic cardstock to start stamping with.Inside mini card is a 3″ x 8″ scored at 4″ card!So fun to add some color inside the cards using the left over strips from the cards in the kit I cut up.Another 3″ x 8″ card mounted on a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4″ card base. Fresh Freeshia cardstock and the Flowering Fields DSP so pretty with this kit. I love to add the adoreable brass butterflies toMore fun cards featuring the Scallop and contour dies and the elegant tag punch.I used the mini Stampin & Emboss machine which sits right beside me on my desk while crafting and the big guy on the across the room. I love the mini on my desk to cut out die cuts or emboss with my mini embossing folders. This little gem is on sale during the month of March!
