This card is another super quick card to create. I added the embossed basic white paper using the 3D brick and mortar embossing folder for a fun brick rustic look in the background. I am so ready for summer and this card is a summer card! Bright and fun! Lots of patterns going on in this card and I love how it all just blends together!
Card base is cut in Parakeet Party 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4″ creased with bone folder. Next emboss a basic white 4″ x 5 1/4″ with the 3D brick and mortar folder mount on the card front with Stampin Seal. (Note, I like to use the Stampin Seal plus), Cut the 2 DSP pieces to 2 1/4″ x 5″ and 2″ x 4 1/2″ layer and mount on the embossed piece.
Next, stamp your butterfly on Basic White card stock and die cut out. Place the butterfly stamped pieces on card front using Stampin Dimensionals and then add the stamped center of the butterfly with multipurpose glue over the stamped butterfly. Cut a 4″ x 1/2″ strip of Parakeet Party and stamp the verse with the black tuxedo memento ink. Wrap the In Color Bakers Twine around the left end of the strip and knot off, trim the ends of the bakers twine with your paper snips. Place the stamped strip on lower card front with Stampin Dimensionals. Place the matt In Color gems around the card front with your take your pick tool. Boom you are done!
Easily change the colors but use the same theme and you can change the greeting easily to whatever theme you may need. This is a super fun set and a great one to create with, Perfect for so many cards and who does not love the beauty of a butterfly?
