Just a start on fall, and a different twist on traditional colors. Black and White is super popular in home decorating and I had fun on this card using Black and White and the new Pretty Pumpkins Bundle. If you know me you know how much I love fall! The colors, the smells, harvest, bonfires and football! Not to mention Pumpkins and decorating for fall! I love the details in this set and the sayings are perfect, and look at the beautiful font, so elegant!
Super simple card, quick and done are always the best cards! I just love our Scalloped Contours Dies, the detail is perfect and I tend to grab these for almost all my cards! This card base is a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored in the center at 4 1/2″ with your trimmer. Basic Black cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ and the leave DSP cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″. Die cut a scalloped rectangle. Stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black in the pumpkin on Basic White card stock and then die cut the pumpkin out. Also, die cut a basic black leave. Stamp your greeting at the bottom of the rectangle. Mount the Pumpkin above the greeting and then using Stampin Dimensionals mount the Scalloped Rectangle at an angle on the card. Then using your Take Your Pick Tool place some Basic Rhinestones around the card. Next, use a dimensional to mount the leave on the around the stem. Using a mini glue dot adhere a double tied Basic Black Bakers Twine bow to the stem. Don’t for get to cut a 4 x 5 1/4″ Basic Black and a Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″ for the inside of the card. Be sure to stamp a greeting! Use some DSP to also decorate the back of the envelope flap! Happy mail is always pretty right?
This is such a fun and simple card. I guess you could say a classic. Try different DSP prints for variations of this fun card. I also love to use the Beauty of the Earth DSP. Look how fun and detailed this pumpkin is using the Gold Foil Sheets.
