Oh my finally getting my Sweet Sunflower Paper Pumpkin Alternatives to post and what a crazy few weeks. I am so sorry these are posting late. Lucky me managed to get shingles and in my right eye, which led to swollen shut for a few days and totally miserable for a couple weeks. Finally beginning to feel like I am back to somewhat normal if I can every find that! Then my weekend was crazy with Iowa State Football sorry huge fans and the big Iowa/Iowa State rivalry and yes our team won! Go State! Then Sunday I got to spend my entire day in Des Moines waiting for my mothers delayed flight to come in till last Sunday night. Then of course off to work today, meeting tonight and then sick grandbaby followed by meetings for 3 days in Iowa City. Can I just lock myself in my stamp room and escape this crazy like I seem to be living lately! I can handle most of it but the shingles was a bit much! Guess when it lands on your eye the doctors tend to stress out a bit. Just a bit scary but I think we are over that one for now!

This fun kit was another super amazing and full of fun Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin Up. I loved the beautiful water color images and the gold foil die cuts that were and added bonus tot this fun kit! Every time a new kit arrives I can’t wait to tear it apart and create with it! Of course there are directions in each kit to create cards and projects complete with ink and supplies to create the projects the kit features but I love to create alternative cards and projects and show you how fun it is to adapt and the amazing value these fun kits have when you think outside of the box and chop them up. Adding a few fun supplies will take these kits to amazing amounts of cards and fun! I love to create cards for the themes I need such as birthday, sympathy, thinking of you, thank you, wedding etc. Just by changing sayings you can create so many different themes and then adding some cardstock or fun DSP, a few fun shapes with punches or die cuts and create away. The kits come with ink or 2 ink spots in this kit but I like to add some of my own ink colors too. If you are a new stamper the ink spots and stamps are a great way to start your collection. Each month there is a fun stamp set with a theme and an ink spot included in the kit. They both can be used over and over to create with.

I have tons of cards created with this kit. I lost count this time but so many fun projects. I will post pictures of all of them here and be sure to catch my video with more details and close ups. The link is posted in the post. If you are wondering what Paper Pumpkin kits are, they are a subscription service from Stampin Up. Each month there is a fun kit of supplies you subscribe to for a 1 mos., 3 mos., 6 mos. or even a full year. You must be signed up by the 10th of the month to get that months kit. Each month you get a preview so if you are not liking it or want to pause your subscription you can and you can even cancel if you give it a try and just don’t like them. I can’t imagine that though as the value of these fun boxes and the fact that you can have completed cards on hand or fun treat holders, projects and even scrapbooking with fun die cuts and page layouts. These kits are so versatile. I also, have a Paper Pumpkin Perks club each month (yes, sorry this one is running late) where I then follow up with my Paper Pumpkin subscribers with more fun supplies, alternative ideas, and a fun treat or two! I tend to spoil my Paper Pumpkin customers! Sound like fun to you? Be sure to subscribe today and join the fun! Links below or in my online store!

I love to add texture with our embossing folders. Look at the details that were in this fun kit!
I loved the gold foil die cuts to much fun to create with!
The 3D Time Worn embossing folder was a fun one to use also with this kit! Let your stamps do the work and just stamp away! Velum was also fun to use!
Closer view of the 3D Time Worn Embossing folder.
Create fun backgrounds and stamp images on a 2″ strip of Basic White mount on Crushed Curry and a Crumb Cake card base. I love to splatter ink with the end of my marker flicking ink around the card for a spattered look.
Is the Gingham paper not the cutest? I love that paper so much! 12×12 and full of fun!
Shaded Summer is one of my fun go to stamp sets! I love the font and saying and I love the simplicity of the set! I used the time worn embossing folder after stamping in Basic Grey ink. Don’t forget to cut up the envelopes too! You can get Basic White envelopes so use the kit ones for beautiful DSP! Cut it up!
So many fun options with this kit!
You can even use the Gold Foil to create Christmas cards! Never to early to think about the holidays and just look how adaptable you can make this Sunflower kit!
Even a fun fold-score a 4 1/4″ x 11″ at 2 1/2″ and 5 1/2″ and fold, opens to a fun card!
The Brushed Brass Butterflys were fun to add to these cards.
A gift card holder!
Score Night of Navy card stock first a 5 1/2 on the 11″ side then score one end a 1 1/4″ using tearing tape seal both ends and you have a fun pocket inside to tuck a gift card or gift of cash inside. Use the 6 x 6 DSP to add fun prints to the cards.
You can use this stamp set long after the supplies are gone from this kit to create more great cards. Stamp and fussy cut the sunflower. I used sponge daubers to dab some ink on the flower petals and then curled them with my finger tips. The Stylish Shapes die cuts are my go to staples in die cuts. I love the stitched shapes and banners you can create with them!
Gifts for customer orders and maybe some perks rewards in there too!
I mentioned treats with this fun gingham DSP don’t apples and with carmels go well together? I love to send sweet treats out too! Fall is so much fun and so many rich colors!
Happy Ho Ho Ho is the next Paper Pumpkin kit and it looks like a ton of fun! I love Santa and I can’t wait for this one either! Be sure to be signed up by October 10th for this one and a great start to those holiday cards and projects!
