Finally found time to play with the Textured Chic Suite of products and oh my! This is love at first site! This stunning designer series paper is amazing and just beautiful! Another simple birthday card to share with you today! When you need a fast card be sure to keep this in mind! The DSP takes the card to a whole new level with the metallic gold’s. The entire suite is season themed and can be used for all the seasons of the year! This stamp set has great greetings and I love the font too! I really want to go to the beach after making this one!
The DSP will be perfect for wedding cards and baby cards too! So many pretty soft pastels in this pack! It is just beautiful and you really have to see it as the catalog does not give it justice at all!
Close up of the card front! I used the Decorative Circle Punch and the Stylish Shapes for the stitched circle. I stamped off the seashell in Crumb Cake and then stamped the greeting over the shell in Soft Suede ink. Note place the shell to the side so your greeting stands out! Adhere this stamped circle to the Crumb Cake punched decorative circle. Place this over the ribbon adhered to the card front with Stampin Seal Plus. (note I love to use the plus but the seal is great too!) Be sure to pop this up with Stampin Dimensionals before placing over the ribbon to add dimension to the card! Using the take your pick tool place the metallic adhesive gems on the card front. This card screams texture! I love to add dimension and texture to my cards! The metallic gems are so much fun too!Be sure to add DSP to the envelope flap for a fun completed card. I love to send pretty Happy Mail out! Who wants ugly mail?
Standard Card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″, cut a Basic White to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ , cut a dotted gold DSP to 4″ x 5 1/4″ Die cut a Stitched Rectangle in the shell DSP. Cut a strip of DSP 3/4″ x 4″. Layer as shown on the card front. Simple and done!
