As I headed off to my stamp room last night to make Hey Chic cards, I was tired and then remembered I need to make cards for work. My real job is in the trucking world. We send cards to all our employees and their families. The light bulb went off while I never buy card at home, we were buying them at work. Not anymore, this was my creations last night from this kit. I had 16 cards made in no time flat, some feature a masculine feel and some for the women. Very easy to make and quite fun too! I used the You are Amazing stamp set to go with the kit. I did change up a couple with the Sweet Ice Cream Set for the Happy Birthday font but not necessary the You are Amazing set would be just fine. I did all of them as birthday cards so that is my reasoning on the change up and the fact that I love that fun font too! The cards are so pretty and fun to make and check out the box that comes with them which was great to transport to my office today! I had 16 cards stamped and ready to roll out in a little over an hour!
I did use my banner punch to cut the metallic gold rectangles in the front card into a banner! I love to add the Gilded gems to my cards and with the purchase of the card kit and the You are Amazing project kit, I will send you a FREE set of the Gilded Gems! You will love them too! The kit can be made with 4 suggested ink choices I used Flirty Flamingo and Pretty Peacock and to be honest, I think Pretty Peacock is the only one you need as it works with all the cards well! These are great cards! There are directions in the kit but you know me, I have a hard time following them. Beginners will love to make the cards as they come in the kit but after a couple you will have fun changing them up too! The stamp set can be used over and over! I love the colors in this kit! Bright and fun with a metallic feel to them. Sure to brighten someone’s day and prefect for Birthdays, graduations, celebrations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day so many fun reasons to celebrate! They will be so impressed with your card, made by you!
This front card is using the Sweet Ice Cream set, is that font not fun? I love this set too! Not needed for these cards but I wanted them to all be birthday so I changed them up. The Congratulations from the set would have been great in on the gold metallic edged banner. This one is stamped in the Flirty Flamingo ink. I love the tulips! Who is ready for Spring as yet another blizzard is coming our way!
The front card I turned one of the circles over for a white shape and used the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set for the birthday greeting to change it up once again only because I wanted to feature all birthday cards and thought this was a fun masculine one! The dual colored bakers twine is so fun to tie around the cards and double tie bows too and stick bows down with a mini glue dot. I used the Stampin Dimensionals to pop the pre cut die cuts from the kit off the cards. Images such as the stamped circle were stuck down with the Stampin Seal.
